With this current financial crunch and everyone's mind on money or the lack thereof, I've been asked to address the issue of survival in this financial downturn.
I'm a Life and Business Development Coach, not a financial advisor. The fact is, however, that there are laws of the Universe that govern everything including money. Whether you believe that or not is irrelevant, it's a fact. With that said, let me assure you that those laws apply to this current economy which began unfolding many years ago. Seems no one was watching the money store or they watched without knowing what to do about it. It could also be a matter of those watching the money store having incentive not to see what was going on.
I'm surely aware that banks are failing, people are losing their homes, businesses are closing, and jobs are being lost. The fact is, however, that the money demons did not come in the night and steal a great portion of the world's wealth. Both the currency of value; gold, silver etc., and the valueless paper money we in the U.S. have been agreeing to pretend has value, still exist in abundance... somewhere. Everything that the world uses as a medium of exchange is still there. The problem we're having right now is that every medium of exchange (let's call it all money for simplification purposes), has simply been redistributed. The fact that you may not have any of it doesn't mean it's not still there.
My first advice is that if you no longer have access to the share of money you once had, you need to look at what you can do to access the wealth that is still out there somewhere. In this process the most important part of it is to begin by asking the right questions.
The right answers will always come to you if you ask the right questions. The catch is that you must ask the RIGHT questions for the particular circumstance in point. The useless and sometimes dangerous questions we tend to ask result in useless and/or dangerous answers that are of no value except to make things worse.
Examples of useless and/or dangerous questions:
Why did this happen to me?
How am I going to survive?
Why isn't my neighbor struggling the way I am?
Will I lose my house?
Will I lose my car?
How long before I lose my job/business?
What will people think if I lose my car, home, business etc.?
Why isn't the government helping people like me?
That list of just a few examples of such useless, if not damaging, questions must be avoided. The way to do that is to ask questions to which you REALLY need answers.
The better questions to ask yourself:
What changes can I make to thrive through whatever happens?
What can I do to meet the needs of others who are struggling?
What do people really need now (things they must have), that I can supply?
What information or service can I offer to those who still have money to spend?
What changes do I need to make in my thinking to thrive?
What are the top three action steps I can take immediately to attract money?
Hopefully you can readily see that the answers to the original set of questions would leave you worse off than you started. You can not only survive but actually thrive through this down economy if you ask the right questions. Keep an open mind and make the decision to thrive. If you're currently employed and lose your job, it can be a blessing in disguise. The problems we turn into opportunity frequently produce the greatest results and if you believe you can thrive no matter what... you surely can!!! I know you can and hopefully you know or will soon begin to know that you can.
